Player to watch: Running back/kick returner Dri Archer will draw a lot of attention from Rutgers. Archer has rushed for 687 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 10.1 yards per carry, and he leads the country in kickoff returns. He's averaging 41.7 yards per return and has run three back for touchdowns.

Rutgers' offense vs. Kent State's defense: The Golden Flashes' defense is vulnerable to the run, giving up 156 yards per game in allowing 401 total yards and 24.7 points per game. So expect a lot of Jawan Jamison, who has six 100-yard games this season, before Rutgers turns to quarterback Gary Nova. Nova threw four second-half TD passes in last week's comeback win over Temple. Middle linebacker Luke Bratton is the best defensive player for Kent State, which has lost only at Kentucky, 47-14. He had 14 tackles, recovered two fumbles and deflected a pass that was intercepted in last week's win over Western Michigan. …
