BLAIRSTOWN -- Kinnelon felt as if it let one slip away the first time. Colts quarterback Sean Robbins made sure there'd be no sequel Friday night.

Playing on the road as the No. 6 seed largely because of that crushing loss to North Warren on Oct. 26, Robbins and the Colts got to exact some revenge and punch their tickets to MetLife Stadium with an exhilarating, 35-33 win over the Patriots in a North 1, Group 2 semifinal.

Robbins played the "best game of his career," according to coach Kevin White, after accounting for all five Kinnelon touchdowns -- three passing and two rushing.

"We always believed in each other," said Robbins, whose team saw a 21-12 halftime lead dissolve after surrendering back-to-back North Warren touchdown drives to open the second half.

"The confidence we had in each other was just incredible. To be here, going to MetLife, to play in a state championship after where we've been is just unbelievable. We went 1-9 my freshman year and now we're here. …
