The Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series, to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey Affiliate, will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mountain Creek Resort, 200 McAfee Vernon Road, Vernon. The event will feature a 3K and 5K snowshoe walk, a 3K snowshoe race and shorter dashes for children. No experience necessary and free demo snowshoes will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants will also receive an all-day lift pass for use the remainder of the day. St. Mark's Episcopal Church will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Scholar Fundraiser Brunch on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. at 118 Chadwick Road, Teaneck. The event will feature Rwandan native and French teacher Jean Gratien Uwisavye's presentation, "A Man's Personal Journey ...
