Ian Hummer registered his first double-double of the season to help Princeton defeat visiting Harvard, 58-53, on Friday night, tightening up the Ivy League title race.

Hummer scored 23 points with a season-high 14 rebounds as the Tigers (15-9, 8-2) avenged a 69-57 loss to the Crimson (17-8, 9-2) on Feb. 16.

COLUMBIA 59, YALE 46 (at New York) -- Maodo Lo scored a game- high 20 points, had three assists and three blocks to lead the Lions (12-13, 4-7) over the Bulldogs (11-17, 5-6).

Harrison suspended

D'Angelo Harrison, the third-leading scorer in the Big East Conference, was suspended by St. John's for the rest of the season.

Red Storm coach Steve Lavin made the announcement without giving a reason for the suspension, which includes postseason games.
