Knicks Host Heat on Eve of Super Bowl

All eyes will be glued to North Jersey on Super Bowl Sunday in February.

But the night before the big game, you can bet that all the celebrities in town will be at Madison Square Garden to watch a compelling opening act. The Knicks will host LeBron James and the defending champion Miami Heat less than 24 hours before Super Bowl XLVIII kicks off at MetLife Stadium.

The Knicks' 2013-14 schedule was released Tuesday, and expect them to be in the spotlight on plenty of days. New York has 23 games to be televised by ESPN/ABC or TNT.

The Knicks' schedule with the crosstown-rival Nets is much improved over last season, when the teams played all four matchups in the first half of the season -- prematurely ending the suspense of what was becoming a thrilling rivalry.
