Robert Bowers completed 11 of 15 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns as New Milford surprised Cresskill, 31-13, to hand the Cougars, ranked No. 12 in The Record football Top 25, their first loss in an NJIC game Friday night at New Milford.

Andrew McElroy caught eight passes for 165 yards, including TD receptions of 58 and 23 yards. Bowers also threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Lignos for the Knights (5-2).

Sean Coffey and Matt Ferrara each scored on 1-yard runs for Cresskill (6-1).

WALLINGTON 45, WEEHAWKEN 42 (at Weehawken) -- Ryan Adzima threw TD passes of 21, 14, 71, 65 and 10 yards, including two in the fourth quarter, as the Panthers (4-3) rallied. Adzima also ran for a 4-yard score, a two-point conversion and threw for a conversion.

Oliver Molano rushed for 254 yards and three TDs on 19 carries for the Indians (2-5).

GARFIELD 28, LYNDHURST 24 (at Lyndhurst) -- Michael Reyes rushed for a 3-yard TD in the fourth quarter that lifted the Boilermakers (5-2). Reyes added a 10-yard rushing score and threw a 59-yard TD pass to Ricky Reyes, who also had a 27-yard TD reception from Alex Victorino.

Jonathon Hoff threw three TD passes, connecting with John Ferrer for scores of 21 and 36 yards for the Golden Bears (2-5).

BECTON 39, WOOD-RIDGE 26 (at East Rutherford) -- Karriem Royster threw three touchdown passes, including two to Danny Zimmerman, and ran for TD runs of 28 and 6 yards to lift the Wildcats (4-3).

Ethan Wilde threw TD passes of 15, 82 and 80 yards, and Stephen Barat had a 25-yard TD run to go along with the 82-yard score from Wilde for the Blue Devils (0-7).

EMERSON 23, PARK RIDGE 7 (at Park Ridge) -- Ian O'Hanlon ran for a 3-yard score, threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Gianni Carpenter and kicked a 25-yard field goal to lead the Cavos (3-4).

Joshua Lewis caught a 25-yard TD pass from Evan Matthews to help the Owls (1-6) take a 7-0 lead.

PALISADES PARK/LEONIA 35, NORTH ARLINGTON 14 (at North Arlington): Adeyemi DaSilva threw touchdown passes of 34, 17 and 5 yards to lead the Tigers (7-0). Robert Then added rushing TDs of 67 and 26 yards.

Nick Martin caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kenny Kuzmuk and Mike Paolello returned a kickoff 82 yards for a score for the Vikings (1-6). …
