Player to watch: Brendon Kay. Cincinnati's quarterback leads the nation with a .741 completion percentage. He's thrown for 2,006 yards and 16 touchdowns and has been intercepted seven times. The Bearcats average 33 points a game.

Rutgers offense vs. Cincinnati defense: Statistically, Cincy's defense is one of the nation's best. The Bearcats are ranked eighth in rushing defense and eighth in total defense. But Cincy's strength of schedule ranks last among 125 FCS schools. The Bearcats hope to rattle RU quarterback Gary Nova with a pass rush led by Silverberry Mouhon (5 1/2 sacks) and Jordan Stepp (5 sacks). Rutgers hopes the return of running back Paul James, who was averaging 7.3 yards per carry before he was hurt, will add some punch to its running game.
