Jorgensen Helps Panthers Survive Physical Indians

HACKENSACK - Coming off a huge win over Randolph earlier in the week, Glen Rock found itself in a different kind of battle against Pascack Valley on Sunday at the Ice House. The Panthers saw two players go down in the second period and it changed the complexion of the game.

It took into the third period before they got the ship righted, overcoming a 2-1 deficit with three goals to earn a 4-2 victory that moves them one step closer to the Big North Silver regular season title.

What many thought was going to be an easier win for Glen Rock (16- 2) turned into a physical battle with the Indians (5-9-2).

"When we lost a couple of guys it messed up all three lines and it took us some time to get adjusted," said Glen Rock coach Sergio Fernandez.

Peter Tatigian got cut on the chin that required stitches and left him unavailable for the rest of the game. …
