Boonville, Ind. Esther (Morrison) Sprengel Kemp, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Woodmont Health Campus.

She was born August 8, 1925 in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, to Richard and Elizabeth (Black) Morrison. In 1944, she met and married her husband, Arthur Kemp, in Northern Ireland, during World War II, while he was serving in the United States Army. She came with Arthur, to the United States, and became a U.S. citizen.

When her children were young, she enjoyed going to their schools singing Irish songs and telling stories about her beloved homeland in Northern Ireland.

She was a member of Brown Chapel Ministries, and of the Baptist Faith. She retired from the dietary department of the Warrick County Hospital.

The family would like to thank Woodmont Health Campus and staff for their excellent care.

Esther lived with and was cared for by her daughter and son-in- law, Linda and Jerry Rogers for many years. …
