These summaries of Vanderburgh County Health Department's inspection reports are made public after restaurants and food stores have had 10 days to respond. Reinspections are at the inspector's discretion.


Adele's, 4488 First Ave., no violations. Charles Denby VFW Post 2953, 1800 Pollack Ave., one critical violation: Cutting board not cleaned (washed, rinsed and sanitized) every four hours when in use (corrected).

Domino's Pizza, 2101 S. Weinbach Ave., one critical violation: Can opener heavily soiled (corrected).

Domino's Pizza, 600 N. Weinbach Ave., no violations.

Arby's, 3600 First Ave., one critical violation: Three- compartment sink hose missing spring to keep sprayer arm out of flood rim of sink to prevent possible cross contamination.

Burger King, 4400 First Ave., one critical violation: Mop sink hose lacking backsiphonage device; one noncritical violation: inside ice machine guard is soiled.

Delaware School, 700 N. Garvin St., no violations.

Evansville Country Club, 3810 Stringtown Road, four critical violations: Facility using reduced oxygen packaging for meat, chicken, fish and soup (correcting); dish machine not sanitizing (corrected); two-compartment sink hose within flood rim of sink (corrected); dish area hose for floor cleaning lacking required backsiphonage device to protect building water supply (corrected); one noncritical violation: Freezer at pantry area has boxed product and individual containers on floor.

Evansville Kennel Club, 5201 Kratzville Road, no violations.

Evansville Lutheran School, 120 E. Michigan St., no violations.

The Executive Suite, 3501 First Ave., two noncritical violations: Ice machine inside guard soiled (corrected); storage room has boxed single service containers on floor.

Harbor Bay North, 4418 First Ave., two critical violations: Open drink containers at cook prep and serving areas (corrected); concentration for sanitizer wet wiping cloths too strong (corrected); three noncritical violations: Oysters not stored in self-draining ice container; reusing shucked oyster shells (corrected); wet wiping cloths not stored with sanitizing solution in between use (corrected). …
