UE Women Face Familiar Foe Tonight ; Aces Travel to CFSB Center to Take on Murray State Racers

A season ago, Murray State forced the University of Evansville's women's basketball team into 31 turnovers and a 15-point road loss in Oties Epps' first game as coach. Then the Aces came back a month later and beat that same Racers by 30 points at the Ford Center. "The second time when we played them - I didn't play, but just watching - I think we had a vengeance and wanted to get back at them from when we lost there," said sophomore Khristian Hart. "So when we played them at home last year, it was just, 'Play our game and don't let them dictate to us what we do.'"

The Harrison graduate and the Aces (2-1) will take another shot at Murray State - their only one this season - at 7 p.m. today on the Racers' home court at the CFSB Center.

Hart, who sat out last season with an injury, hit a team-high five of the Aces' record 15 3-pointers in their win Saturday over San Jose State. She leads the Aces in scoring with 16.3 points per game, ahead of senior Samantha Heck's 12 points per game and senior Meagan Collins, who's averaging 11. …
