EVSC

Russell Crocker, EVSC bus driver, and Vicki Morrison, bus attendant, are this month's recipients of the EVSC Cause for Applause Employee of the Month award. The award is designed to recognize individuals in the EVSC who go above and beyond their regular job responsibilities.

Crocker, driver of bus 139, and Morrison were nominated by Dana Funkhouser, an EVSC parent, for going above and beyond what is expected as a bus driver and attendant in helping her son. According to her nomination application, Funkhouser writes, "They are not just worried about getting kids from Point A to Point B. They have helped my son be more independent and successful." Funkhouser also writes that Crocker and Morrison are always cheerful, patient and understanding.

This is Crocker's third year with the EVSC and the fourth for Morrison.

Anyone can nominate an employee of the EVSC for the award. Deadline for nominations is the third Friday of each month. Go to www.evscschools.com and click on Community http:// www.evscschools.com/community/nominate-evsc-employeesexemplay-work for the nomination form. Paper forms are available at the schools for those without access to the Internet.
