The Old National Bank Foundation has awarded more than $750,000 to seven local nonprofit organizations from a total of nearly $1 million distributed during its third-quarter to improve communities in its four-state service area. The contributions include $500,000 for Campaign USI: Elevating Excellence, the University of Southern Indiana's ongoing capital campaign, and to help fund the Old National Bank Foundation Scholarship program...

It also includes a $220,000 grant for the Ivy Tech Changing Lives Campaign to support the Associate Accelerated Program, which includes student programs, services and scholarships.

"We are committed to improving the quality of life in our communities and are proud to partner with these organizations in creating positive change while accomplishing their goals," said Foundation President Janet Baas. Old National Bank Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Old National Bancorp.

Through its charitable-giving programs, the foundation strives to help improve the quality of life throughout its service area, which includes communities in Indiana, Kentucky, Southern Illinois and Southwestern Michigan.

The foundation's primary focus areas are community and economic development and education programs.
