Bride Sian Steps out in Honour of Mum ; Pals Raising Money for Christie Cancer Hospital Doctors Say Mother Has Just Months to Live

ABRIDE-to-be is to take part in a 10k charity walk for her hen party - in honour of her 'inspiring' terminallyill mother.

Sian Dowds hopes to raise thousands of pounds as a tribute to mum Sam, who doctors say has just months to live because of breast cancer.

Financial adviser Sian, of Oaklea Road, Sale, and 35 of her pals will take part in the Race for Life at Tatton Park in a bid to generate cash for The Christie, where Sam is being treated.

Sam, as well as Sian's grandma Joyce, will be there on the day to cheer on the girls, who will mostly walk the 10km course.

Sian, 29, said: "I'm really proud of all my friends who have all been fundraising and saying they are really looking forward to the walk.

"Every single time we get bad news, my mum just inspires me so much.

"She's always stays so strong and makes me want to be a better person. …
