Dad's Anguish as Pregnant Wife Has Heart Attack ; Mum and Baby Home after Traumatic Op

ADAD has told of the terrifying moment his wife suffered a heart attack while six months pregnant.

Little Aaryan Murtaza was born following an emergency Caesarean section weighing just 2lbs after his mum Shahida Younas was rushed to hospital suffering from chest pains.

Doctors found she had suffered a heart attack and were forced to deliver Aaryan quickly so they could treat her.

Aaryan was kept in the special care baby unit for two months, while Shahida, 29, spent three days in intensive care.

But both have now fully recovered and are back at home in Rochdale. Dad Taz Murtaza, 42, described the time as the worst of his life.

He said: "I had no idea what to expect, I thought I may lose my wife and baby.

"It was awful to see her in hospital.

"No one will understand the pain of coming home and not knowing what is going to happen.

But I have faith and I prayed every night.

"Luckily, my prayers got answered."

Doctors believe a lung and chest infection caused Shahida, of Middhurst Street, Deeplish, to suffer a heart attack. …
