THERE may be no sign of silverware at Spotland tonight but that won't stop John Coleman preparing his players for a cup final, writes RICHARD PARTINGTON.

Rochdale play host to Oxford United looking to end a run of poor performances on their own patch.

Dale have picked up just one win in front of their own supporters so far and that came against basement side Barnet.

Their last home game ended in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Morecambe after which Coleman insisted Dale fans needed to get behind their team and his players had to start giving supporters something to shout about.

Beaten at Plymouth on Saturday, Coleman is looking to bounce back against the 'U's.

"Our home form hasn't been the best. I've told my players it's a cup final," he said. "We have to go out there all guns blazing, we have to attack. We have to do what Plymouth did to us on Saturday. …
