Bolton Keeper Adam a Derby Clash Doubt

KEEPER Adam Bogdan could miss his first Championship game of the season tonight as Bolton bid to extend their winning run to four games.

The Hungarian international is doubtful with a groin injury that has troubled him for the last couple of matches.

Andy Lonergan is on stand-by for a league debut as Wanderers look for their first double of the campaign against Blackburn.

"It's just an injury because of overuse," said manager Dougie Freedman.

"We will leave it as late as possible before making the call.

"Adam is having a scan to make sure it is nothing more serious. But we believe it's just down to tiredness because of the number of games we've played."

Full-back Tyrone Mears is again unavailable due to a blood infection, while midfielder Keith Andrews isn't expected back from an Achilles injury until the end of the month.

Wanderers beat Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park last November and are favourites to continue their improvement of the past month. Rovers, under former United starlet Michael Appleton, have lost three and drawn one of their last four games. …
