? THE Enough Project at the Lowry Studio generates a doublebill of new work from two leading northern voices by asking - what is enough? Emma Adams and Cathy Crabb, two outstanding north west writing talents, have been supported by The Lowry's new Accelerate programme, in association with the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, which works to develop the knowledge and skills of the next generation of theatre makers.

MEN Theatre Award winner Cathy Crabb (pictured above) has written more than 20 plays including Beautiful House, Roots of Love, Fifteen Minutes With You, The Bubbler and Moving Pictures.

Cathy's new play, Something Right, involves a mother who tries to do the right thing for her children as they encounter challenging ideas alien to their upbringing.

She said: "The Enough Project has allowed us to embark on an unusual journey which presented many challenges as we searched for a way to bring to life two contrasting stories, using the same set and cast.

"The resulting productions are two halves of a much greater whole - an exploration of political issues from public funding cuts to growing unemployment levels to what constitutes having 'enough' on a personal level. …
