WIGAN boss Owen Coyle blasted referee Graham Scott for sending off his star midfielder Callum McManaman in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

McManaman headed for an early bath just three minutes after coming on as a substitute in the 56th minute after a heavy challenge on Brett Pitman, who also had a penalty saved.

Lewis Grabban netted the only goal of the fiercely contested battle on the south coast after 42 minutes, latching on to a calamitous back pass from James Perch.
