Holdsworth Can't Wait for 'Biggest Game'

FORMER Salford star Daniel Holdsworth says Hull''s Wembley clash with Wigan will be the biggest game of his career, writes NEIL BARKER.

The 29-year-old joined Hull from Salford before the start of the season. After playing a starring role in the dramatic semi-final victory over Warrington Wolves, he is hoping to make the most of his first appearance in a Challenge Cup final tomorrow.

"I've never played in a final before and that was one of the big attractions for me to come to Hull because I knew this club had the talent and potential to make it to these type of games," he told M.E.N. Sport.

"Playing in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium will be the biggest game of my career so far without a doubt.

"We had a very close game in the semi-finals and we weathered a bit of a storm, but we held on for a good win.

"We knew that match was going to be tough, it was a gutsy performance for us, and we know we'll be looking at another very close game at Wembley and we'll have to put in a huge 80 minutes. …
