APIGEON racing enthusiast was in a flap when one of his birds returned home - after two years! The pigeon had been away for so long that when it turned up at Alan Barnett's home on Vernon Road in Bredbury he didn't recognise it. He nursed the bedraggled creature back to health, and then called the The Royal Pigeon Racing Association with the leg ring number to find out who it belonged to. What they told him knocked him off his perch - the pigeon belonged to him.
