From Supporter to Support Act, Hatty's Picked for Big JLS Tour

IMAGINE not only meeting your childhood musical heroes, but supporting them on a UK arena tour.

This is the situation that Salford-born singer and songwriter Hatty Keane faces as she prepares to go on the road with JLS on their farewell tour.

Hatty became a big fan of the boyband, who were runners-up on the X Factor in 2008, and she is looking forward to joining them on their Goodbye - The Greatest Hits Tour, which comes to Manchester on Saturday, December 14.

She said: "I used to be a crazy fan of JLS when I was younger. I went to see them when they turned the Christmas lights on at the Trafford Centre.

"I kind of met Oritse at a gig and in May I did a gig at the Ministry of Sound and Aston was there. It is surreal to be going on tour with them."

Hatty, who will celebrate her 19th birthday on the first day of the tour in Belfast on Sunday, December 1, has supported Ed Sheeran and Wretch 32. …
