? NERVE racking, emotional and fun are the words Jaymi Hensley from Union J uses to describe the X Factor boy band's first gig of their first Magazines & TV Screens tour - one that stops at the Apollo twice in the weeks ahead.

They've recently shared billing with Robbie Williams, Jason Derulo and Little Mix at Key 103's celebfest Jingle Ball concert, but Jaymi admits there's nothing like going it alone on the road. "Being on our own tour where everyone is there just to see us is an incredible feeling. I feel so blessed and lucky."

It has been a busy 12 months for the 23-year-old with the vocal chords of a well established crooner: from coming out as gay in late 2012, to being eliminated from the X Factor, proposing to long-term boyfriend Olly Marmon, and then these headline shows.

He may be too humble to let us call him the band's best singer, but he's happy to stand out for one reason: "Every boy band has the gay one, right? …
