BURY will be clocking up some miles in the next few days as they face two long away trips in the space of four days.

After visiting Exeter today in League Two they travel to Cambridge on Tuesday hoping to clinch a secondround tie with Sheffield United in the FA Cup.

But after claiming a welcome win at home to Hartlepool on Tuesday night, caretaker manager Ronnie Jepson is ready to hit the road.

"It's great isn't it," he said. "You have a tough game on the Saturday and what's so hard about playing an FA Cup game on the Tuesday night? I'd rather be doing that than going training on Tuesday night!

"That's what we signed up for, we know what the season brings, so we just have to get on with it.

"There was a lot of frustration about but there's nothing like a win to give the place a lift - for everyone inside the club. …
