WE'RE at half-way into the Cheltenham Festival and St Patrick's day is set to provide us with some stunning action.

The big race is the World Hurdle with a Great Britain v Ireland clash between four-time winner Big Buck's and the younger challenger Annie Power.

Big Buck's was robbed of the chance to record a fifth race win last year by injury, but if he is back to his best it would be a brave soul to rule out another victory. It will be a different story if Annie Power storms up the hill in front and Betfred will pay double the starting price if she wins by more than four lengths.

It's not just a two horse race, but the favourites will attract lots of interest from Betfred customers.

This offer copped on yesterday with us paying out supporters of Sire De Grugy double odds of 11/2 because the Champions Chase winner won by six lengths.

The rest of the day looks very competitive, including the Ryanair Chase over two miles five furlongs.

Interesting runners here include Dynaste for Tom Scudamore and the jockey is certainly keen on this one. …
