Bulls Eye Former Coach Noble If He Bids Farwell to Salford

BRIAN Noble could be a surprise target for Super League strugglers Bradford when his move from Salford is officially confirmed next Monday.

Noble who has not been at Salford since being replaced by Iestyn Harris as coach three weeks ago has until Monday to decide if he stays as football director.

This is unlikely and Noble's legal representatives are in talks with Salford bosses trying to reach a financial settlement after he was replaced by Harris as head coach at the start of this month.

Noble, who was on a lucrative one-and-a-half year contract, has had no involvement with the Salford players since owner Marwan Koukash brought in Harris from Wigan - initially to assist him - but then to replace him as head coach.

Harris' appointment as head coach angered Noble, who refuses to comment on his future while involved in legal action but Noble and Koukash are still said to be on good terms.

He previously coached Bradford and sources in Yorkshire are tipping him to be a possible target for the Bulls' new owners who could ask him to go in there to assist in trying to stave off the threat of relegation. …
