-Community Backyard Bash, a fun family celebration: 9:30 a.m.- noon at Child Development Research Center, 651 Fifth Ave. East, off University Boulevard near University Medical Center. Free event for parents and children up to 8 years old. Activities include parachute and ball play, art, bubbles, chalk drawing, storytelling and music.
