Shelton State Fall League: Registration is open for grades 9-12 for an eight-game season to be played at Shelton State Community College and coached by Shelton State players. Registration is $150. A mandatory preseason meeting will be held Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Shelton State baseball field and the season will begin the week of Sept. 23. Call Bobby Sprowl at 205-391-2206 or 205-886-6240.

YMCA Adult Fellowship Program: The Benjamin Barnes YMCA holds an Adult Basketball Fellowship program for ages 18 and older on Sundays at 4 p.m., and from 5-8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Druid City Bicycle Club: The Druid City Bicycle Club offers a diversity of riding experiences, including road rides, hilly courses, long rides and mountain bike rides. Visit for other event/ride information.


NFL Punt, Pass and Kick: Competition will be held at Central High School's stadium Sept. 23. The free event is open to boys and girls ages 6-15. Registration starts at 1 p.m., and competition starts at 2. No cleats allowed. Participants will need a copy of their birth certificate.


Alabama MBA Associaton: The annual Manderson Graduate School of Business Golf Tournament fundraiser will be held Sept. 28 at The Capstone Club in Brookwood. Registration is $125 per player. Lunch is at 11 a.m., with the tournament start at noon. Call Mallory Meissner at 205-310-3100.

Change What Matters for Reed: A nonprofit fundraiser tournament for baby Reed Gilvert, who has a brain tumor, will be held Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. at Woodland Forrest Country Club. Senior Open at TCC: The Country Club of Tuscaloosa holds a Senior Open tournament the first Thursday of every month. Cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Call 205-759-5535.

Senior Open at WFCC: A Senior Open will be held at Woodland Forrest Country Club on the fourth Thursday of each month with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $25 for WFCC members and $30 for nonmembers. Contact the Golf Shop at 205-556-1232 for more information.

The First Tee of Tuscaloosa: PARA and Ol' Colony Golf host this program for junior players ages 6-18. Applications and registration are available only at Ol' Colony Golf Club.
