The Tuscaloosa City Council took the following action at its Tuesday meeting:

Ordered demolition of the structure at 3615 McFarland Blvd.

Authorized utility account credits for total of $2,788.06.

Awarded competitive bid to Townsend Ford for the purchase, etc. of five 3/4-ton trucks with utility bed for total of $128,197.55.

Awarded competitive bid to Townsend Ford for the purchase, etc., of one SUV for IT for total of $18,787.12.

Awarded competitive bid to Townsend Ford for the purchase, etc. on one 1/2-ton 4x4 for Lakes for total of $22,055.24.

Approved request from and agreement with 15th PAT LLC for water service to CVS Pharmacy fire line for total of $22,806.20.

Granted permit for 15th PAT LLC to construct water lines for CVS Pharmacy fire line.

Authorized the issuance of a loan to June L. Canty for home purchase assistance under the City's HOME Program for total of $5,000.

Authorized the issuance of a loan to Johnny L. and Earline M. Jemison for home purchase assistance under the City's HOME Program for total of $5,000.

Authorized the issuance of a loan to Willie B. Welch for home purchase assistance under the City's HOME Program for total of $5,000.

Approved request from and agreement with Cheddar's for water service to Cheddar's fire line for total of $22,649.72.

Granted permit for Cheddar's to construct water lines for Cheddar's fire line.

Authorized change order No. 1 with Civilworx LLC for the Public Safety Logistics Building for deductive total of $27,971.50.

Authorized payment to Sarah J. Bailey in settlement of claims for total of $80.24.

Tabled for 90 days a decision to demolish the structure at 2502 Greensboro Ave.

Ordered demolition of the structure at 1209 19th St.
