Saturday

Dedication of the Coach Lue C. Mims Jr. Athletic Complex: 1 p.m. in the Central High School Auditorium. Reception after. Event sponsored by the Tuscaloosa City School System, the Industrial/ Druid High School Alumni Association and the NAACP. Free and open to the public.

Historic Northport Depot: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the corner of Ninth Street and 25th Avenue in Northport, displaying an extensive model train layout. Free admission.

River Market: 7 a.m.-noon at 1900 Jack Warner Parkway. Locally grown produce, flowers, plants and other items available. Call 205- 248-5296.

Northport Farmers Market: 6 a.m.-noon at 4150 Fifth St. in Northport, just past Kentuck on the right. Collards, greens, beets, onions and farm fresh beef and pork available. Call 205-657-2502.

County Line music: 7-10 p.m. with the band, Country Club, at 919 Old Highway 82 West, Gordo. Admission is $5. No alcohol or smoking. Call 205-399-1614.

Fish fry: 4-7 p.m. at Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department, off Alabama Highway 171 at the 20-mile marker. Plates are $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12. Call 205-339-2703.
