BRISTOL, Conn. -- ESPN Radio will air out-of-market broadcasts for Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Patriots and Steelers games starting this season.

ESPN said today that it had signed individual agreements with each club for Sunday afternoon contests. The teams' games will continue to be broadcast on their official local stations in their home markets.

This is the first such national deal for ESPN Radio.

Herm Edwards, Bill Polian and Damien Woody will be among the analysts who will work the games.

MORE NFL: Jim Brown rejoins Browns

CLEVELAND -- Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown is rejoining the Cleveland Browns in an official capacity.

The former star running back will have an unspecified job with the Browns, the NFL team he played for from 1957 to 1965. Browns owner Jimmy Hasalm will introduce Brown during a news conference on Wednesday at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Brown previously worked as a senior adviser with the Browns, but had his role eliminated by former team president Mike Holmgren.

TENNIS: Stosur wins in France, Tomic out

PARIS -- Sam Stosur waited 2 1/2 hours to play because of rain, then quickly won her opening match at the French Open.

The 2010 runner-up swept the first nine games today and drubbed 42-year-old Kimiko Date-Krumm, 6-0, 6-2.

Bernard Tomic, whose father was banned from attending the French Open because of an assault investigation, retired from his first- round match today.

The 61st-ranked Tomic was treated for a right hamstring problem in the first set but played on until stopping while trailing, 7-5, 7- 6 (8), 2-1, against Victor Hanescu.

Tomic's father, John, is due in court in Madrid in October. He is accused of head-butting Bernard's hitting partner, Thomas Drouet.
