$50,000 Reward Offered in Killing Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting of Man Who Tried to Stop Bank Robber

Authorities are hoping that a $50,000 reward will lead them to a suspect in Sunday's fatal shooting of a Washington County man following the robbery of a Citizens Bank in Strabane Square.

At a press conference this morning, Washington County District Attorney Gene Vittone, along with South Strabane police, state police and the FBI, said investigators have received much cooperation from the public, but believe more vital information that could lead them to the suspect is still out there.

The reward money is being provided by Citizens Bank and Giant Eagle.

Vincent Kelley, 46, was killed in the Father's Day shooting when he tried to stop a masked man wearing a straw hat who had just robbed the Citizens Bank inside the Giant Eagle in the Strabane Square shopping center. Mr, Kelley had been grocery shopping with a friend when he witnessed the robbery and chased the robber into the parking lot and struggled with him inside of the robber's car, where he was shot. …
