RAW: natural born artists showcases local emerging artists in film, fashion, music, visual art, performance art, hair and makeup artistry, and photography at Cavo, 1916 Smallman St., Strip District, at 8:30 p.m. This month's event, "Translations," includes Kyle Anthony Adams, Abby Diamond, Frequently Fly Clothing, Yury, Jessica Duggan, The Locomotive Explosive, Megan Gardner, Badboxes, Daniel K. Haas Photography, Vehement Romantic, DeAndreaDesigns, Charlene Bidula, Shade Ilmaendu, Rachel Dawn Renaudin, Beth Anderson, Michael Goltz Photography, Hizwerks, Masha Mouse Bones Vereshchenko, Ashley Steedle, Erica Ersik, Kara Zuzu, Heather, Robyn Troetschel, Nina VanSuch, master of rotations, ricardo iamuuri and Nate Taylor. Mad Tom Brown is the DJ and Kellee Maize the host. Dress code for this 21-and-over event is fashionable cocktail attire. You're not supposed to wear white after Labor Day, but just because it's September doesn't mean summer is over quite yet. There's one more show in the First Fridays at the Frick series. The final outdoor summer season concert features Axiom Brass, a brass quintet that has made rounds in the chamber music competition circuit.
