North American Boxing Association heavyweight champion Jason Bergman will face Rubin Williams in a match tonight at the Serbian Cultural Center in Weirton, W.Va.

The card also features light heavyweight Tommy Karpency looking to score a victory after losing his past two fights. Karpency goes up against Dante Craig, a former United States Olympian.

Light heavyweight Cian Dalton will face David White, who is making his pro debut. Dalton trains at The Conn-Greb Boxing Club in Pittsburgh.

GOLF

Players will need a third day to complete the first round at the Nelson Mandela Championship in Durban, South Africa, after rain again disrupted the European Tour event's schedule. After a seven- hour delay Wednesday, only a little more than four hours' play was possible on Thursday before the Mount Edgecombe course became unplayable again because of a heavy downpour. Englishman Daniel Brooks was still the clubhouse leader after an 8-under 62.

* Four-time European Tour champion Alex Cejka of Germany shot an 8-under 64 to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the Thailand Golf Championship in Chon Buri. Cejka, 43, rolled in his eighth birdie of the day on the 17th hole to take the sole lead from Justin Rose, who was already in the clubhouse after a bogey-free round. Rose was tied for second at the Asian Tour event with Arnond Vongvanij of Thailand.

* Lydia Ko, 16, who earned an exemption to join the LPGA Tour in October, signed with management company IMG. Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie are among the golfers represented by IMG.
