Dance in Mckeesport to Honor Late Terry Lee

There couldn't be a more fitting way to celebrate the life of the late Terry Lee than an evening filled with music and dancing with the people who grew up listening to him play it.

On March 8, friends, family and fans will have that chance. A public tribute to Lee will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Boston Spectrum, 6001 E. Smithfield St. in McKeesport.

The event is BYOB, with food, snacks, beer and mixers provided. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be reserved by sending an email to: magictlsound@gmail.com

Lee, who lived in Bellville, Ohio, died of lung cancer July 30, 2013. He was 70.

"We're doing it for family and close friends and all the people who knew him, that grew up with him. It's a night of remembering what he's contributed to the music," said his wife Carol Trunzo. "We're going to have a lot of music and dancing, just like his dances. This is a way for his fans to pay tribute to someone who provided them with wonderful memories of their youth. …
