You Say You Want a ...

Revolution Agency, a Washington, D.C.-based issue advocacy and public affairs advertising firm, hired Sheena Arora as account director to expand its creative and public affairs reach.

Arora spent the past three years at Message Global working on behalf of clients to advance social action campaigns and corporate social responsibility around the world. She previously served as national campaign coordinator for the ONE Campaign and spent a year in the office of then-Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.).

"We are thrilled to have Sheena join our agency," Revolution founding partner Matt Leonardo said in a statement. "Her experience working on inventive advocacy campaigns perfectly gels with the unique approach we bring to our clients, and will further enhance Revolution's work."

Greene Promoted

Julie Greene was named deputy director for the AFL-CIO political department, which educates and mobilizes voters and conducts voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts.

Greene is a former account executive at MSHC Partners. Her previous work for the labor union included stints as assistant director for the political department and campaign operations analyst, during which she was responsible for the full scope of national and local political communication outreach to members, including direct mail, telemarketing and targeting.

Greene joins Political Director Michael Podhorzer and will be responsible for developing, executing and aligning programs across multiple departments, campaigns and affiliates; voter registration; voter mobilization; member organizing; and political community organizing.

Right by the Bay

Four political operatives were named by the Republican National Convention to manage the official program, conduct floor operations and help support communications for the August event in Tampa, Fla.

Committee on Arrangements CEO William Harris announced that Todd Cranney, deputy political director for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, will be director of delegate outreach; Tony Feather, a Missouri-based operative, will be director of whip operations; Jim Dyke, president of JDA Frontline, will serve as a senior adviser and support convention communications; and Anne Hathaway, a former Republican National Committee chief of staff, will serve as convention program director. …
