Douglas Cunningham, 86, of Key West, FL, formerly of Nobleboro, Maine, died on May 17, 2012. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tue., May 22, 2012 at Strong-Hancock Funeral Home in Damariscotta, ME. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wed., at Strong-Hancock Funeral Home in Damariscotta, ME. Funeral arrangements by: Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Venice, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Virginia; his daughters, Paula Kinne and her husband Scott Kinne, Julie Cunningham and her fiancA(c) Mike Marchetta, Janet Rapier, and Susan Gay and her husband David Gay; a special niece, Betty Fitzpatrick and her husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Emily Cunningham, Alan Kinne and his wife Kelly, Walker and Christian Kinne, Amanda and Andrew Rapier, William and Abbie Healey, and Danny and Peter Gay; great-grandsons, Owen McBean and Carter Kinne. Jan Elizabeth Hamilton, 72, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died on May 16, 2012. Jan and her husband, Dr. John L. Hamilton moved to Sarasota, Fl. in 1976. Dr. and Mrs. Hamilton opened a podiatry practice on Siesta Drive. Jan is survived by her husband, Dr. John L. Hamilton; daughter, Linda, son in law, Mike, Julia, Nancy, Don, Tom and three grandchildren. Jan and her husband were long standing members of the Sarasota Yacht Club and The Meadows Country Club. Jan enjoyed photography, cooking, sailing, traveling around the world, particularly to Central America. Jan loved all animals and everything having to do with nature. Jan was a wonderful artist and craftswoman as many of her friends and family can attest. Jan made many friends over the years and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Our family would like to thank her friends for their love and support, as well as, the medical professionals who cared for her at Westminster Towers in Bradenton and Tidewell Hospice on 26th Street West Bradenton, Florida. A visitation at Covell's Funeral Home at 4232 26th Street West, Bradenton on May 23 will begin at 6:00PM followed by a service at 7:00PM. …
