Perfect Storms at Sarasota's Cock & Bull

There's something quintessentially Sarasota about a CD release at the Cock & Bull.

The crowds tend to comprise an abnormally high ratio of local musicians. But every so often, a show emerges that seems to pull every artist in town out of the woodwork.

One such occurrence happened a few years back, when an outfit of recent high school grads called Youth attracted legions to C&B for the band's simultaneous debut drop and final performance.

It was produced with the help of a successful IndieGoGo fundraising campaign, which continues until Sunday (indiegogo.com/thewallies).

An integral element in the release show success formula, the tugging of heart strings, comes with the departure of Wallies drummer Drew Silverman. …
