Genda, Todd William

Jan. 20, 1960 - July 6, 2013

Todd was born on January 20, 1960 in Freeport, IL to Richard and Judith Genda. He graduated from Peachtree High School, Dunwoody, GA in 1977 and went on to attend Florida State University. Later he resided in Sarasota, Florida where he graduated from Edison College. He had a love for nature and enjoyed rafting, biking, and hiking in the mountains. He volunteered with The YMCA happy Kids in Atlanta. He had a great love for music and loved to play the guitar, piano and listening to others do the same. Todd never saw an animal he didn't connect with, and the feeling was always mutual. The Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers both had a huge fan in Todd.

Todd is survived by his parents Dick and Judie Genda, his sister Julie McKinney & her husband Mac McKinney of Atlanta, GA. His brother Mitch Genda & wife Margie Genda of Charlotte, NC, one nephew Austin McKinney, and three nieces Evan McKinney, Lucy, and Margo Genda.

Todd was known for his compassionate heart and was a deeply loving and caring person. He will be missed by his family and friends. A private service will be held at a later date.

Moore, Margaret Mary "Peggy"

Margaret Mary Moore - Peggy to her family and friends - was born on January 3, 1920- to Bernard and Nora (nee O'Brien) Moore, in Berlin, Connecticut. The middle child of three, she had an older brother, John and a younger brother, Bill, both of whom predeceased her.

After losing their mother at a very young age, Peggy and her brothers spent a number of years in school, in Watertown, New York, before returning to Kensington to attend high school when their father remarried. Peggy graduated from Berlin High School and then from Central Connecticut Teachers' College, where she had studied for a career as an elementary teacher. She took a job in the Warehouse Point, Connecticut, school system, teaching 2nd grade for several years. …
