It's flipping holiday time.

No, I am not cursing (Santa may be reading this) -- it's just the time of year when many stations flip their formats to seasonal music.

WLTW-FM (106.7) will make the change around 5 p.m. today, when morning show hosts Bob Bronson and Christine Nagy flip the switch at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

"It's truly amazing to hear the response each year from our audience when we start playing Christmas music 24/7," said Bronson. "Our listener base nearly doubles in size and we get to expose our show to a lot of potential new listeners. So, we get just as excited to flip the switch."

Music Choice is already ringing in the holidays on its music channels with nonstop holiday music.

Here are three of their stations that have already flipped:

* MC Soft Rock features holiday hits from artists including Rod Stewart, Carrie Underwood, James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble with MC exclusive acoustic versions through Dec. 31.

* MC Romances features predominantly Spanish-language songs from artists including Jose Feliciano and Prince Royce through Jan. 6.

* And for those who prefer traditional holiday songs, MC's Sounds of the Seasons Music Channel will continue to feature them through Jan. 6. Featured on the channel are favorites including Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Gene Autry.

Starting Nov. 28, MC R&B Soul will feature holiday hits from artists including Boyz II Men and Whitney Houston through Dec. 31. A sprinkling of holiday music will also begin to air on many of their other music channels.

SiriusXM's holiday music lineup will feature eight commercial- free channels celebrating the season.

* Holiday Traditions (via satellite on Sirius channel 147 and XM channel 73) features traditional holiday music from the '40s through the '60s. Through 3 a.m. Dec. 31.

* Holly (via satellite on channel 17) features contemporary holiday music. …
