New Harmony Bicentennial Commission: is seeking entries for its bicentennial parade to be held Aug. 9. Churches, civic organizations, school groups, music groups, emergency service organizations and all others are welcome. Registration forms are available at newharmony-in.gov or by calling 812-682-4012. Deadline is July 20.

New Harmony Farmers and Artisans Market: 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through fall, 406 Tavern St.

Mount Vernon Farmers Market: hosted by the Purdue Extension agency, 2-6 p.m. every Tuesday through fall on Fourth Street between the McDonald's and Domino's Pizza.

Wadesville Farmers Market: hosted by the Purdue Extension agency, 2-6 p.m. every Thursday through fall across Indiana 66 from the Subway.
