Enable Midstream names Sailor CFO

OKLAHOMA CITY - Rodney J. Sailor has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Enable Midstream Partners effective April 1.

Sailor, 55, joins the company from Tulsa-based WPX Energy, where he was senior vice president and chief financial officer. His office will be in Oklahoma City.

Before joining WPX, Sailor served as vice president and treasurer for Williams Cos.

A native of Nashville, Tenn., Sailor is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

WPX names interim CFO

TULSA - J. Kevin Vann has been appointed interim senior vice president and chief financial officer by WPX Energy.

Tulsa-based WPX said Rodney J. Sailor had resigned as senior vice president and chief financial officer effective March 31. Sailor has been named executive vice president and CFO with Oklahoma City- based Enable Midstream Partners.

Vann serves as WPX's vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Vann will also replace Sailor as director for Tulsa-based Apco Oil and Gas International.

Vann began his career with Arthur Andersen in Tulsa before joining Williams in 1998. In 2006, he became controller for the exploration and production business of Williams, which later spun off WPX Energy.

Vann is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

Market research workshop set

PURCELL - A marketing research workshop for small businesses is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 27 at the McClain County Expo Center in Purcell.

Registration for Market Research to Grow Your Business is $10. Registration information is at www.reiwbc.org.

Participants will use BusinessDecision and Reference USA to research consumer expenditures, gather demographic data and market segmentation data and access information about more than 14 million businesses. Some laptops will be provided so participants can get hands-on practice, but participants can bring their own devices.

Workshop presenters are Phil Clark, business outreach coordinator at the Pioneer Library System, and Jennifer Edwards, coordinator at the REI Women's Business Center. Event partners are Heart of OK Chamber of Commerce, Mid-America Technology Center, Oklahoma Small Business Development Center and the REI Women's Business Center.

Edmond Economic Abstract released

EDMOND - The Edmond Economic Development Authority has released the 2014 Edmond Economic Abstract.

The 10-page economic profile, published annually by the EEDA and sponsored by Francis Tuttle Technology Center, contains demographic information including population, income levels, cost of living, crime figures, traffic counts and more.

The 2014 Economic Abstract also includes information on Edmond's residential and commercial real estate markets, tax collections and education information.

"The Abstract is an essential tool for anyone promoting the Edmond area as well as for those considering a move to Edmond," said EEDA Executive Director Janet Yowell. …
