Washburn Foundation Names Three Members to Its Board

Three new members have joined Washburn University Foundation's board of directors.

James Clarke, Kris Rinne and D.L. Smith were elected by the board of trustees to four-year terms.

Clarke is a partner with Fiduciary Research & Consulting, where he leads the firm's private equity, real estate and energy investments.

He has served on the foundation's board of trustees since 2012, the foundation said in a news release. He is also a board member at Infegy and Orbis Biosciences, two early-stage companies, and Sheffield Place, a shelter for homeless women and their children, the news release said.

Rinne is senior vice president of network technologies at AT&T, where she handles IT and network architecture and planning. She joined the foundation's board of trustees in 2012 and is a member of Washburn Women's Venture Partners.

Rinne is also a member of the 4G Americas Board of Governors, the Next Generation Mobile Networks Board of Governors and the board of directors for Wycliffe Associates. …
