First Lutheran Church, 1234 S.W. Fairlawn, will continue a Christmas tradition when it presents its annual Drive-Thru Living Nativity from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.

Members of the church will re-enact characters from the biblical account of Jesus' birth.

Those planning to attend are asked to approach the church by car from the south, so that they are headed northbound on S.W. Fairlawn Road to enable a right-hand turn into the church parking lot.

There is no charge for the event.

In other religion news:

- The Topeka Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 S.W. Kingsrow, will be the site of the third annual Nativities and Noels event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. Several special activities are planned, including a children's story time at 4:30 p.m., which will be followed by a Christmas carol sing-along for all ages at 5 p.m. and lighting of outdoor luminaries at 5:30 p.m., when there will also be harp prelude music in the chapel. The stake's Christmas concert will follow at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day and after the musical program.

- First Presbyterian Church, 817 S.W. Harrison, will have its Noon Noels series at noon on Wednesdays Dec. 10 and 17. Hayden High School Singers will perform on Dec. 10; and the Washburn Rural Middle School Choir on Dec. 17. A lunch for $5 will be served before the program at 11:30 a.m. and afterward at 12:30 p.m.

n The Lutheran Women's Missionary League of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3625 S.W. Wanamaker, will hold its annual Pastries on Parade cookie and bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6. A variety of home-baked cookies will be available for sale at $5 per pound. Other baked goods and tasty treats will be individually priced.

n Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene, 3501 S.W. Wanamaker, will have its annual Cookie Walk from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. …
