Dear Elaine: Your living will and your regular will are perfectively valid even though you moved to Florida. On the other hand, if it has been a long time since your will was drawn, perhaps it is time to review it to be certain it still reflects your wishes. Reviewing your will every couple of years is a smart thing to do.

As for the living will, make certain it is drawn in conformance with the laws of Florida. It may have to be replaced, but that is an inexpensive adventure.
