HUSBAND and wife posties Tracy and Paul McCarty found love at the sorting o^ce - and 25 years later they are happily married with three children.

Tracy and Paul got together in the 90s after sorting letters side by side at the Royal Mail depot on Cross Lane, Pendleton, Salford.

ey got on so well that they were separated by their then manager for talking too much. But they got around the problem so that they could carry on chatting.

Tracy, 42, who joined Royal Mail sorting o^ce as a postwoman in 1990, laughed: "We used to chat to each other all the time at work, just friendly banter, but then the manager split us up because we were talking too much."

Paul, 47, a Royal Mail driver, added: "But we rigged up a makeshift walkie-talkie with a couple of plastic cups and a bit of string - they didn't have mobile phones in those days. …
