SHAUN Wane is busy putting the finishing touches to his latest motivational speech.

The Wigan coach's private pep talks have become legendary among those fortunate to have heard and benefitted from them.

And Wane says he will make sure his charges feel 10 feet tall when they step out to face Warrington in Friday night's second play- off semi-final.

It is a repeat of last year's Grand Final, when a rousing half- time dressing room blast from the everpassionate Warriors boss rallied his troops and secured a famous win when all seemed lost.

"I just love the big games and previous matches count for nothing," said Wane. "Games like Friday night's come down to pride, passion and who wants it the most. I know what winning means to our fans.

"The preparation has been good and we simply have to play well.

"I have always cared passionately about wearing the Wigan jersey. Players who come here have to buy into the Wigan culture.

"The youngsters who come into the side also know what the Wigan way is. …
