Lion-Heart Morris Urges Snubbed Fly-Half to Keep the Faith

FORMER Sale, England and British Lions scrumhalf Dewi Morris has added his voice to chorus of disapproval over Danny Cipriani's Test snub.

Morris - now a respected Sky Sports analyst - was at Sale's Carrington training base yesterday and made it plain he felt that Cipriani had been hard done to by England head coach Stuart Lancaster.

"It's how you react to such blows as I had plenty in my career," said Morris, who won 26 caps.

"No-one's bigger than the team and Danny's had a chequered past.

"Two years ago I said I'd start talking about him when he started playing and, by God, he has started playing.

"I've been delighted with his aptitude and attitude and at times last Saturday he simply tore Munster apart.

"All he's got to do now is keep doing what he's doing.

"He will be hurting at the moment and I'm not saying you wait for injuries, but the fact is there will be injuries. …
