Lennon Expecting Eastern Promise from Wanderers

NEIL Lennon's thoughts have turned to the East this week as rumours of aPounds 40m Thai takeover and subsequent denials have been on Bolton's agenda.

But the Wanderers boss is more concerned about how his team will fare in East Anglia tonight.

Wanderers begin a run of three tricky fixtures in eight days at Norwich - a challenge he believes his players will respond to.

The Canaries haven't won in five games, collecting only three points, but Lennon describes the trip as a big step up for his side.

"I think Norwich have the best squad in the Championship. Like all teams, they have had some patchy form but they are not losing many games and that is the sign of a good team.

"There will be bad moments in the game we have to see through. But the players are starting to believe a lot more in themselves.

"They are only taking baby steps but two wins out of three is a good start. …
