STUART Littler can now add his name to the long list of players who have played for both Salford and neighbours Swinton.

The former Super League centre has moved on from hometown Leigh to play the new season in the blue of the Lions and it's a challenge he is relishing, according to coach Jon Duffy.

"Stuart is now 35 and he brings with him a wealth of experience," said Duffy, who has also added Tommy Gallagher to his squad from Dewsbury. "Stuart is going to be good for so many at the club, especially the young lads who have joined us from Super League clubs.

"They will see at first hand what a good, hardworking pro he is and how he has looked after himself.

"We did specialised testing the other night in training and Stuart was in the top four.

"It showed why he has been able to play on for so long. I am pleased to have brought him to Swinton. …
